Increase power steering pump pressure to mlighten effort.

I recently had surgery on both shoulders and was wondering Is there a way to either modify the rack & pinion or power steering pump to lessen the effort required to steer.

Not sure you can do this for reduced effort or how you would do this. I would contact TurnOne about it.

In performance pumps, they restrict the flow to reduce unwanted amounts of fluid being bypassed and heating up.

Ideally a electric motor power assist setup would be great. Newer cars have this and you can steer them with one finger lol

Changing your pump pressure will not change your steering effort. Flow rate would be the proper adjustment to change your steering feel, however it is a fine tune adjustment of the steering system. Changing the flow rate will not have any effect on the steering effort at low speed/static manuevers. The rack can be modified to decrease the steering effort if a big adjustment is required.
