280zx Ls1 swap

280zx Ls1 swap I did some research and have seen that there is only a ls1 conversion kit for the 240z-280z but not for a 280zx. Is this true?! The only kit I found was for a chevy 350 small block but also there was a guy saying that you can get adapters for a ls1. Can anybody tell me if there is a way to fit a ls1 into the 280zx. Thanks
If you google "LS powered 280ZX" - you'll find a number to pick from. I'd track one of those owners down if you want to find out how they did it. If you're capable of performing the swap, fabricating your mounts isn't that difficult - in fact, it's likely there will be other parts of the swap that are more challenging than the lack of someone else's "adapters".

I researched this awhile ago, in the middle of a total restoration on my GF's 280ZX. There was not a lot available then. You will need to do a Google search to see there are any new players in the field.
