Gen IV motor question

Default Gen IV motor question

I bought a Gen IV 5.3L truck motor w/tranny for a very good price. I am going to put in in a 1995 4runner. Some of the wiring are cut, no PCM, and no fuse boxes. Most of the wiring are rand new. The motor and tranny only has 16000 miles.
? Is it possible to do that conversion on my 4runer.
? Where can in buy the PCM and the missing fuse box.
? Can the AFM ne disabled.
? Where can I buy the engine mount to retrofit the engine on my chassis

See answers below. More info on disabling AFM. Looks like you'd need to tune out the check engine light

You are going to want a standalone harness. At a minimum, a standalone harness only requires a key switch and fuel pump to hook-up. So technically this would work in any vehicle. The AFM/DOD can be disabled in the tune so the vehicle runs in 8 cylinder mode all the time.

We can supply you the wiring ECM and/or TCM, computer, pedal, etc...
