Lm7 in a first gen firebird questions Im reletively new poster here ive finally cleaned my 1968 firebird and painted the engine bay. I want to fit the lm7 under the stock hood with the truck intake and salvage the computer to save some cash on a new wire harness. So my questions summarized:
1. What are the best motor mounts to spare a few inches off the top of the intake?
2. Is there a way to cut out certain inputs from the fusebox and computer from the donor truck to put it to work in the firebird?
3. Side note, we got some seats from an 80s Mercedes and i really like them but they are too wide to fit where the original seats mount. Any suggestions on that?
4. Lastly i would love a link to anyone who has accomplished this build in a first gen F body (with the truck intake). All ive seen were builds with an ls1 intake or later generation F bodies

Use The small block Chevy motor mounts mated to the swap plates of your choice. Talk to some of the TUNERS-harness guys that advertise here. Sorry the stock hood wont work with the truck intake, cowl induction, aftermarket??? I just bought a LS1 intake for my swap,220 bucks with the throttle body. E-Bay is your friend

Use The small block Chevy motor mounts mated to the swap plates of your choice. Talk to some of the TUNERS-harness guys that advertise here.
