Complete LSA swap into 1997 COBRA
Hopefully you guys can keep me motivated etc and also offer tips and tricks.
I will try to post pictures and keep everyone updated as best as i can. I thought since i have acquired a pretty good bit of parts thus far that i could go ahead and start a build thread.
The donor car is an Orginal 1997 SVT Cobra with roughly 94k miles on the body and motor at the time of pulling it.
I was able to sell the complete stock engine/3550 trans for $2k
To replace it i found a 2012 CTS V engine/TR6060 trans with 39k miles for $10k Engine is completely bone stock and came with engine harness/ecu. no pedal
My goal is between 700-800whp and keeping AC.
I do plan on more parts but this is just what i have so far. Im trying to do one thing at a time such as all the suspension/rearend first then move on to brakes etc.
So far the parts that i have purchased for the car besides the engine/trans are as follows;
