Where is the pink MIL wire?
Where is the pink MIL wire? Working on an LQ4 truck harness (red/blue). I'm wrapping up my harness and I'm on the fuse box. I can't find the pink MIL wire to save my life. All of the wires have been snipped and de pinned if not needed. I've got the MIL from the PCM but not the pink ignition. 12v. Where should I be looking for the wire. Unfortunately I have most everything taped up. hanks
The pink wire for the light is just an ignition hot wire, the brown wire from the PCM sends a ground signal to turn it on. So just add the wire from any source that is hot when the ignition is on.
In regards to the CEL pink that goes to the fuse box where does it come from in the harness. I see others with a pink CEL wire going to the fuse box. Thanks

It depends on who made the harness, aftermarket harness makers put it wherever they want it. You can add a separate fuse for it, or you could tie it into one of the ignition hot wires. On a GM vehicle, the power is from the wire that powers up the gauge cluster.
