Default LS3 powered C-10

What's up everyone!

I have a 1968 C-10 SWB pickup I bought about a year ago. The PO swapped a 5.3l w/ 4l60e into the truck running a reworked stock harness. Since I have gotten the truck I have done various updates to the truck. It came with a Ford 9" running a open diff and guessing 3:08 gears. Sent out the rear end to have it completely rebuilt. Now it's runing a TruTrac with 3:70 gears.

Originally I planned to build up the 5.3 but when I came a across a killer deal on a compete with Acc LS3 I could t pass it up. so out with the old and in with the new lol.

This project will be a bit long since while I'm at it I will be installing a new Entropy radiator, Boyd's aluminum fuel cell with the built in Aeromotive 334 LPH fuel pump, new fuel lines, 4l80E, shorten my one price drive shaft and all other swap related do dads.

When I brought the truck home.

It's current 5.3

It's new heart transplant!

Looks like a nice truck, that LS3 should wake it up a bit! Is that the original paint? Don't see many original silver C10 trucks.

Thanks! Unfortuanlrty it is not the original paint. I would love to have a OG patina truck. But it's just some faux patina. It will eventually get painted. Yea I'm hoping it scoots a little better after lol.

Update!

Pulled the heads off to send out to have AI work their magic on them. The whole email thing kind of sucks but when your swamped with work you don't have time to answer phones.

They will be doing their 280cc CNC program and will be installing the BTR .660 dual springs and titanium trainers. I won't be able to mill them much since I'll be going with a BTR Stage 4 NA cam. Spoke to BTR and was advised I can mill them up to .010" and not have any P2V issues running the stock gasket. Hopefully I can have the heads boxed up and shipped out tomorrow!

Small Update- still waiting on heads from AI. I ordered up my MaMofied 102 and NW to go with it also. Having TSP custom grind me a cam per Pat G! Slowly but surely. Back of my bed is full of parts waiting to be installed. I’ll try and get a pic later
