Default ls1 e46... AWD

Hello. I had an idea a few months ago and then came upon this website today... I would like to take my 2004 325xi and put an LS1 in it. Now, this would be simple, I could just order a kit. However, I want to do AWD burn outs (with 6 inch width all-season tires).

This is the first time I have sat down and really started looking into this swap. To my knowledge, I would be the first person to do this. Do you have any advice on how to have an AWD system?

Here's what you're dealing with --- http://www.awdwiki.com/images/bmw-325ix-e30_xxx.jpg

Will the LS/tranny fit in place of the 6/tranny? Could be made to - probably. Will the 2004 naturally aspirated BMW drivetrain stand up to the torque? I doubt it. If you start out with a newer 335xi (turbo 6) - probably. But you'd be much better off in my opinion modding the OEM turbo six - lots of easy HP/torque available with minor mods.
