Gents, need assistance on getting the real specs of this cam I just picked up. I do trust the guy I got it from. Here is what he told me. It's a used cam and it has this barcode on it. I'll post up a pic as well.

Any info helps, or where I can find. I did a search as well, google and on here.

 

0967 is the last four digits of the GM part number. It's for a 99-04 truck. p/n 12560967, .466/.457, 191/190, 114 LSA. It's a stock cam.

Well then, I just got shafted. Thanks man! Good thing I didn't pay too much for it.

 

Low end torque would be great! But after that......

 

I don't believe that any aftermarket cams use a bar code. Most engrave the cam. You can also spot a stock cam when compared to any sort of non-stock cam if you have them side by side.

Cam on the left is a stock LH8 cam and the one on the right is a GM ASA cam.
