Pedal and tac question

I used a new GMPP LS3 crate motor as well. I paid PSI to do the wiring harness -- and match up the other components -- 08 Corvette ecu and pedal, O2 sensors and mass air sensor ---- all matched. Car fired on the first turn of the key, no check engine light, and settled right into a 650 rpm idle. I think the money I spent with PSI was the best choice I made in the whole project.
I was never able to obtain clear, certain and consistent answers to the questions you're posing -- which was the reason I "hired" PSI -- someone that knew a lot more than me about the compatible components and ecu's. There were simply too many horror stories in the threads about folks that built their own harness and bought a variety of used components (Frankenstein) and pulled their hair out trying to figure out how to make it all work together. Seems like most ended up having to buy different components and/or have things "tuned" before they got the bugs worked out. I decided that the money I was likely to save up front would end up being spent on the back end fixing my mistakes -- concluded that PSI was the least expensive route to a perfect running swap when all was said and done.
