Default Throttle cable adjustment

Just fired the lq4 in my 84 c10 with 4l80 . my question is I put in a lokar throttle cable .and with my engine scan tool a can see live data , so at operating temperature at idle what % should my throttle body read on my scan tool. ?
or should I just adjust it to get proper RPM at idle and never mind the % of throttle opening ?

0% and you should not adjust the idle with the throttle cable. Or the throttle at all unless you have a bigger cam.

You should monitor the IAC counts at idle to find out if the TB plate is adjusted properly. If the motor is stock it should not need any adjustment.

He's saying that you do not adjust the idle with the throttle cable. Your cable should have no tension on it at idle and it should not be holding the throttle open. Is your ECM tuned for the cam yet? The tune will help a lot.
