He already said he could lower the rear so the only question left to be asked is could he lower the front. Not always possible.

Sorry if it confused you.

To set the record straight. I'm building the motor and trans mounts now. In doing that I'm trying to get the driveline aligned before they are tacked up.

The motor can't go any lower in the chassis as there is only a 1/2" between the oil pan and the cross member currently. I'm pulling everything out this weekend as I need to trim the oil pan a bit. Then on to the diff to see if I can tilt it up a bit.

Thanks for everyone's thoughts. I'll post back.

Actually CV's handle way less angle than properly set up U-joints, the way we fix it on lifted rigs is called a Double Cardon, its a double U-joint setup at the front of the drive line it allows a lot of misalignment without popping U-joints...

Cv's are less problematic for driveline joint timing which does help a lot on weird offset drivelines like is being discussed, the angle isn't extreme but they are not in a aligned mode, On a high speed lifted rig you can allow opposite angles if they are the same.. Googling lifted jeep/4x4 drive line, may yield some useful tips..
Trophy trucks are the most radical drive trains out there,, I bet thats the cool source of tech to handle the level of power and such that these cars make.. Of course they almost always use 2 or 3 segment drive lines..

Yup - was referring to a single joint, not a Cardon. Got a feeling the OP will get this resolved pretty easily. Most of the car swaps aren't too difficult to sort out in this regard.
