Default speedo

I have a 1972 c10 short bed with a Ls5.3 in it with the 4L60E and the speedo doesnt work. What wirring hardness can i adapt to make it work?

No wiring harness will make any mechanical speedo work...

Check out speedhut gauges. They have a speedo that works off GPS.

I used dakota digital analog style gauge pod in my 87 c10 . I always thought they were pricy ....but once I had them in my hands I see the quality.

Not sure what look you're after or what your skill level is at, but if you're a little crafty, I can help you out with a super affordable solution. This what o hear . I'm putting a state of the art engine in a decades old vehicle ....but I wanna keep my decad3s old antiquated gauges.....anything worth doing is worth doing correctly

I wanted to keep the "decades old" analog gauges in mine. VDO made pretty good stuff back then (including the cable speedo) with no hysteresis built in to confuse the driver with what's actually happening. So, in my case, 'worth doing correctly' meant finding a way to re-use the period correct stuff. Not a one-size-fits-all on these car builds.
