Did you cut your core support for easier access, if so, how are going to mount it?

Yeah I cut it out so I could just slide the motor and tranny out easier. I’ll either just weld back in the stock support or go with a tubular radiator and bumper support.

When I get mine started, I plan to cut mine, and be able to bolt it. I have an 03 Dodge Ram, that upper core support is like that.

I would imagine that it would work fine bolted through plates on both sides. I’ve thought about doing that as well but I think it would probably look cleaner welded back in place. I really would like to get a whole tubular front end that you weld in and replaces everything from the strut towers forward but the money would be better spent in other places right now. Maybe eventually lol
