Carberry GMLAN connection?
Carberry GMLAN connection? In the middle of wiring up an E38 PCM and ran into some surprises on the A/C and Cruise Control control. Apparently you need a BCM or some aftermarket standalone stuff to make them work in a swap. Ugh
Then I ran across this thing http://www.carberry.it and while it doesnt call out any GM LSx cars that I can find, I thought it might not matter since its GMLan and *in theory* thats the same protocol? (I could be way wrong here)
So, has anyone played with one of these and gotten them working in your swap? The idea of a programmable GMLan interface to my E38 got me thinking about all the cool things I could do with my swap, plus it might just solve the A/C and cruise problem I have too..?
