Help with LQ4 start up issue Hi. New to the site. Been learning a lot from everyone here. Hope I'm in the right section. I have a 2001 TA. Took the LS1 out and built a mild lq4 street engine. It's 10.5 compression, ported 243 heads, howards ASA cam 110lsa ,fast 36 injectors, volant cold air intake, 83mm throttle body, ported ls6 intake, 1-7/8 long tubes into 3 inch exhaust with fullboar single in 2 out muffler. Sent ecu to frost since he's the best at these and was very helpful. When you try to start it, it will crank for awhile and kinda buck and pop thru the exhaust. Stop cranking and then crank again and it will fire up. Sounds bad as when it's running but when you rev sometimes it seems like it has a miss miss and sometimes it doesn't. Shut it off and you have to repeat the aforementioned process to restart. Any ideas? I hooked scanner to it to read live data but not 100 percent sure what it should be reading. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Well feel free to come finish my build. I'm getting frustrated with this painless harness. No plugs for the alternator just the excite wire, no plugs for fans, no plugs for front lights.....and that's the easy stuff. 7 years later and counting still not done lol.
