Getting new 6L80e up and running
Getting new 6L80e up and running I have a 495hp crate LS3 brand new and a GM 6L80e brand new. I'm using psi harness and the tcm and pcm have been married by psi. The engine is up and running with trans attached. I have goggled and searched and found about 10 different procedures to fill and initialize the trans.
What I would really like is to hear it from someone who has done it. What to do and what to look out for. I would hate to ruin a new transmission by being stupid. First the proper way to fill it and then then proper way to get it working. I have HP tuners to make any changes and scan for diagnostics. Thanks

I have L92 and 6L80. I'd make sure it is full. Did you add a dipstick?
Run it on a lift or jack stands. No load. See it shift.
If there is an issue, it will turn on check engine light and give you a code. Very sophisticated diagnostics onboard.
If it shifts through the gears there, I'd drive it lightly.
I did start with a stock trans tune.
