Default Fitment

Mock fit before I pull trans and rebuild/2WD swap.
Looks like Im not too far back - still have a bit of room but about to hit rear fuel line/rail on drivers side.
See where engine mounts (current are though) in relation to IFS crossmember.

Thoughts ?

IMHO you can't get the engine too far back! To ease your mine regarding engine placement install the radiator mount and radiator to see if there is clearance for the fan. If there is room you're good to go. Next two problems are headers and steering and that's just luck of the draw that must be worked out because there isn't much "wiggle" room with the engine.

Yeah - just not sure about that mount behind the crossmmeber

I think most aftermarket mounts push engine forward like 2" and only back like 1/2"
