4l60 wont shift out of 1st

4l60 wont shift out of 1st ls swap 2005 buick rainer 5.3 into 1997 s-10. Ecu is E40 and tcm is T42 , both supposedly out of the Rainer. Engine wasn't running right and was bringing up map dcts so looked into the tune and its a 2bar speed density tune and stock engine map was 1bar so I went and got a 2bar map sensor and engine running better but now I'm getting dctsP0654 engine rpm output circuit and U0101 lost communication with TCM and 4L60 wont shift out of first gear. would like to get some clear guidance on this pretty much a newbie on this I'm wondering why there is a 2bar tune on my ecu when as far as I know the rainer was stock with a 1bar and if some one got into ecu to change that maybe they changed something on the tranny side also
