P0343 issue after swap
P0343 issue after swap Having some troubles with my engine swap and thinking it may have something to do with the LS1 extension harness i am using. iI’m getting the error code P0343 which is the cam position sensor. My engine harness is a PSI harness for an LS1 and my engine swap is an LS2 which I purchased a harness that moves the rear cam sensor of an LS1 to the front for an LS2. I have read some other post about wires being swapped but can’t find any details on what wires.
Car starts most of the time but occasionally sputter and pops at startup, error code P0343 won’t clear and my RPM output to the gauge is barley registering.
CAM and cam bolts are good and torqued so almost certain this is not the problem.
any help would be appreciated.
