1971 Chevelle LS/t56
So I might have to inquire more about your swap as I get time. Looks great.
That HPI frame support / brace kit has to be welded into your existing frame or bolted ???
Any issues with the T-56 mounting and having a good driveline since you're NOT using the Hooker trans bar ?

Yes the HPI kit has to be welded in. I didn't have any issues mounting the t-56, the HPI trans bar is slotted, it can slide back and forth 2.5 inches.
The driveline angle is good too, since it sits at about the same level as the stock trans xmember.
I get tired just looking at all the pics of work done, muchless doing it. Subscribed for the finished project fo sho.
When I installed the aeromotive tank it was tight fit so I went with an access panel in the trunk to make servicing the pump easier.
I also found a Monte Carlo dash on CL that I'm going to use instead of the sweep dash. The Monte Carlo dash had a lot of holes left from the woodgrain cover and I'm not an old radio so I modified the dash.

For the radio and wiper holes I cutter a piece of scrap plastic to fill in the holes. I used superglue to hold them in place. After the glue dried I taped the front with painter's tape and I filled all the gaps and holes with sem rigid plastic repair.
After that regular sanding and a little filler, I used sem rockergaurd to re create the texture.
