Question 58 reluctor crank swap

I don't have a Camaro anymore but I do need some LS1 help. I have a 2004 LM7 I believe aluminum 5.3 short block and I want to put a 6L80 or 90 auto with rev matching behind it for road racing. This will be installed in a 1986 300zx that is track prepped and is in need of way more power. I have been told the rev matching and or the 6L80 will not work with 24 reluctor crank as I have. Can I change wheels or cranks and make it work in my 2004 block. This may be a simple question but FAQ was no help, so any help short of buy another later block will be appreciated.

Yes you can change it but it requires a special tool sold by Goodson to install it. There are other methods but that is the best. It also has to be heated to get it on and off. Where do you live, I have the tool.
