Default TAC to APP cable extension?

Quick question. Have an LM7 Swap going into a 54 Chevy P/U. Engine has been run on a modified harness prior to body installation.

As part of the ECM, and TAC location I needed to extend the harness for the APP. Now I get codes on one of the circuits for the APP.

Ran continuity test on the cables to make sure I made no mistakes and have a correct connections.
Got another cable to see if resistance or voltage drop might be an issue. No codes with this cable installed.
Only one circuit in the APP was setting codes (P1125, P2120).
Before I check the splice work, does anyone know if the increased length of the cable(2.5ft) would cause a problem, or is it most likely just an issue with voltage drop in one of the connections?
I don't have the adapter for my multimeter to do a voltage drop, it's on order.

I didn't find any other posts on this, saw some on TAC and APP issues but one the codes did reset, seems to me it's the cable mods.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Just an update. Have the swap running now with the replacement cable and codes cleared. Plan on going thru the spliced cable again and re-doing the connections as a method of determining if length of the harness is the issue.

Length should not be an issue. For some of the big air boats these have been 40 feet long. Steve

Great! Thanks for the info, suspected that was the case but not an expert on these low current circuits.
