Default LSX SWAPED notch

so i bought an 1986 mustang notch last December and wondering if it would be a smarter /cheaper to buy a wercked doner 1998-2002 camaro/transam for the 5.7 LS1 drivetrain than sell everything i dont need to make money to swap it in my notch for as little money as possible (since i would already have the fbody pan and accessories ) any input on what parts i need would be helpful since i know i need a transmission crossmemer and engine kmember(i dont know what brands are best for the swap)

It depends what you can get the whole car for, or how much you are willing to pay. I think if you can get one for about $3000.00 it wouldn't be to bad, and I wouldn't count on making much back from the chassis, you will use most of the good stuff.
And post pics of the coupe!!

Stampede.

Keep in mind that replacing the engine K-member during a Fox Body LS swap is an option, not a requirement.

Aje k-member with Aje transmission cross member.......now your motor and trans will sit at the right angle and you lost some weight....You can use your stock lower control arms and stock springs but you need the Aje spring perches.........Speed Engineering 1 7/8 Ls Mustang conversion long tube headers on Ebay......Ls1 f-body oil pan..only..........I would skip buying a complete car........find a 6.0 or 6.2 motor....and th400......you could also save a little money and go carburetor with a Msd 6014 box......unless you get lucky and find a complete drop out with harness and computer...??

What are your use plans for the car and what transmission do you plan on using. Are you planning a turbo build or an N/A set-up?
