Default Oil pressure switch pigtail questions

Ls swap 82 C10. Bought a new pigtail. It has 3 wires all the same color. My C10 only has one wire. Which wire is which? And will this pigtail work with the factory gauge?

Okay.. We need more information.. What are you trying to hook to the oil pressure sending unit-is it a factory GM oil pressure gauge, or aftermarket? If aftermarket, can it interface with the GM oil pressure sending unit, or does it require it's own sending unit that is different than the GM sending unit? A FACTORY GM oil pressure sending unit on an LS engine typically WILL NOT work with an aftermarket oil pressure gauge. I just did a '70 C-10 and ended up drilling, and threading, a hole in the oil cooler block off plate (right above oil filter) for my after market oil pressure gauge. The only reason you'd want to hook up, and or run, the factory GM oil pressure sending unit at the back of the intake manifold is if your gauge can use the signal from that sending unit. Or, if you want to be able to log oil pressure in HP Tuners, then you would need to have the factory GM sending unit wired correctly to the PCM.
