Default Lt1 conversion in 79 z28 first time

Who knows if older sbc.motor mounts will bolt in to the 79 z28 with a 95 lt1 motor and 4l60e trans or do I need adaptors or install kit .and if so who sells a nice one I'm building a real nice 79 z28

Motor mounts should be the same. It's still a SBC.

G Atsma is correct, the original SB engine brackets and clamshell mounts will bolt right up. If your transmission is a 1993-97 first generation 4L60 with the one-piece case, you’ll need to get yourself a 1975-81 Camaro 700R4 swap crossmember, or swap the trans extension housing out for the one GM used in the B-body cars I believe that locates the trans mount in the same location as a TH400. If you go the later route, then you’ll need to use a 1975-81 Camaro TH400 swap crossmember, or use a factory 1970-74 TH400 crossmember and drill the holes for it in your frame.
