drum to disc I have a '88 C1500 with rear drums. I want to swap in a 1999 rear end with the G80 LSD and disc breaks. Will my master cylinder need to be swapped too? what about the proportioning valve? Any help or links is very much appreciated. Thank you
I swapped out my 1995 K1500 to a 14 bolt disc brake rear with no issues. The anti lock system adapted to the changes with no issues. Why do you want a G80? They are horrible gov-lock grenades.

it was cheep, $50 complete. I bought it and now think I will be pulling and swapping the breaks over to the 14 bolt(9.5ring) I have in there now and since i would need to replace a carrier i might as well do it in the 14 bolt.
