Aftermarket builder harness?
Aftermarket builder harness? Hey all, I'm throwing around the idea of an aftermarket harness/fuse/relay panel for my Cutlass. The car is already rewired from the firewall forward and will most likely leave the wiring going to the back of the car stock. I was going to still use the stock fuse/relay panel and create a separate one for all the other relays and misc wiring. Lately I've started leaning towards an aftermarket relay/fuse panel that has GM plugs and will take care of the majority of what I need. If a separate, small relay panel is needed then I can throw one together. Anyone have experience with one? Thanks, James
No issues, just at the point now that I'm almost ready to put the dash back in and need to address the wiring. I was planning on using as little of the stock fuse/relay panel that needs to be used since I'm already adding headlight relays, electric fan relays, A/C relay, relays possibly for the horn, wipers and whatever else. Also, still have the wiring for the Vintage Air kit, headlights, elec fans, LS harness, the remote solenoid in trunk, the Vaporworx CTS-V module controller, etc. So I'm gonna be neck deep in wiring anyway, just looking at my options.
I have, I installed a Painless 18 circuit harness years ago in a '69 Chevelle but am looking more and more at the AAW Highway 22. No personal experience with them but have heard good things. Wasn't sure if anyone here had any experience with AAW or others.
