Original wire from '78 Caprice Harness: What is it

Default Original wire from '78 Caprice Harness: What is it

I was installing the wiring harness in my '78 Caprice project and I found this wire hiding that is part of the original Caprice's wiring harness. It goes into the firewall connector and into the fusebox. I have no idea what this connects to.

Looks like the plug that goes to the proportioning valve for the brake warning light.
