Just found out that Lokar doesn't make a pedal assembly for this engine - they can't do the trucks until 2007. Does anyone know of anyone else that makes an after market DBW pedal that will work.
Very hard to get the fitment right. Right now I'm looking at getting the torch and welder out to try to make it work.
Not sure what you are working with but if you are working with a typical 70s/80s GM setup with the flat firewall the pedal and bracket are very similar between models. I am using a 2005-2008 Hemi Ram pedal on the 6.0L swap I setup. The pedal drops nearly straight down from the sensor (compared to the GM pedal) and with a very slight modification bolted to a firewall bracket from a 2007 GMT800 truck. Positioning and pedal angle work out fantastic in the old G20 van I am running the 6.0L in. Will also say that the electronics between the Hemi pedal are identical to the earlier 2003-2004 Hemi APS sensor that was mounted under the battery box and hooked to the throttle pedal with an actual cable. The 0.5-4.5 volt double potentiometer setups are very common with many different manufacturers. Getting it to work correct is as simple as getting one of the outputs to increase and one to decrease in output. The GM connector even fit the Hemi pedal after I swapped 4 of the wires to obtain the right pinout.
I cut and welded my stock gm pedal to fit comfortably... you should be a able to modify a stock one. People even cut off the truck stuff and weld the classic car pedal assemblies on
