Default Stand alone wire harness.....12 volt acc.....

I have seen it mentioned by a few to run the 12 volt acc wire to the old 6 volt wire that went to the coil (68 chevelle)

I am asking because, randomly I will blow the glass fuse while under load, where I have the 12 volt acc on the stand alone harness plugged into the fuse box.

My question is, where does everyone else run the key on 12 volt wire to?

Will I have an issue with the old shielded 6 volt step down wire?

Do you have an ignition relay or are you trying to run a whole LS engine off the resistor wire?

No relay, the instructions from Speartech don't say to install a relay..... just to wire to a 12 ACC key on.

If you don't immediately cut it out and throw it in the trash, you will have nothing but issues.
