Back up lights for a 6L90

Back up lights for a 6L90 finished my swap getting a 2010 5.3 with a 6 speed into my Toyota Land Cruiser. Been driving it as mush as I can while I keep connecting the small things.
How is is the best way to get 12v to the Toyota back up lights ? Is there a sensor and plug, somewhere on the 6L80 tranny ?

im just using the OEM floor shifter. Seems I’ve heard of folks using “micro switches”, to get the dash PRND12 indicator display , not sue what a “micro switches” are, but decided I didn’t need the dash display anyway. But maybe some kind of sensor on the floor shifter is needed for BU lights anyway

Use a reed switch and a relay ,,, All you need is a magnet on the linkage and a small bracket for the reed switch.
The reverse switch is usually somewhere in the shifter mechanism on a stock chevy. (Floor or column).

Yes, we have done tap shift programming and had tap shift products available for swap vehicles since the 6L80 transmission came out.
