Timing Covers
Yes, two piece timing covers are great if you plan on doing lots of cam swaps or need an additional place to seal from leaking.
Me, I use stock timing covers on everything and never have issues. Plus they're cheap. Why re-invent the wheel?

Just another place to leak, that's exactly what I thought and I only plan on one cam change. The LS3 1811 apparently has no sensor ring on the cam so have to convert to front sensor. What'd do use to block the rear sensor hole?
I'm a frugal cat, I just leave the old sensor in the hole. No one is going to see it with the intake in place and I'm not trying to build Ridler winning show cars so I don't care. If I cared that much I would just buy a Gen IV block and be done.
