LQ4 in 74 Coupe Deville

The help and guidance is very much appreciated. Reading online and through these forums I ran across similar swap but please do shed light if you can.
we are doing a 2003 LQ4 into a 74 Coupe Deville using the Caddy TH400. Can this be achieved easily through the BOP bellhousing adapter and the TH400 flexplate kit sold many places? Or is there something more complicated in this one?
The thought of a modern 4l60 and a 3.73 rearend still goes through my head but with modding of a rearend to fit there since they dont make kits for the Caddy 12 bolt and Im stuck with a 2.93 rear in a 5000lbs car. I rather just have it as a reliable cruiser and might just throw a small cam tp try to pick it up some more.
