Hello,
I recently purchased a V2 TR6060 trans with factory flywheel and dual disc clutch from a 2014 CTS-V. I want to install it in a 1969 C10. The clutch and flywheel is designed for a 8 bolt crank tho. What would be the best option? Change the crank to LSA or buy a different clutch and flywheel??
The motor is not assembled yet or balanced. Changing the crank isn’t a big deal to me. $700 for the crank and $75 to change the reluctor wheel to a 24. Also, I think I may need a different timing set.
Changing the flywheel and clutch... The factory dual disc is very good condition and I’m around 500 crank hp.
I need your guys advice.. What would you do?

I'd change the flywheel/clutch assembly, If you're not planning on going more than 500 hp, I'd go with an LS7 clutch/flywheel set up. $280 shipped from Amazon. Add a new slave and you're set.

Thank you for the reply. I ended up just ordering a clutch and flywheel. Went with the McLeod super street pro single disc with the billet steel flywheel. Not sure how much I will need to shim... but I’ll mock it up and measure!
