Not very well. ALL gains will be above 4500-5000 RPM, and will lose a lot of low end power. It is very similar to the LS9 cam, which many try to use in the 5.3 with similar results.
What year is your 4.8? If a stock LS cam is what you want, get an early LS6 cam which is 204/211 with .525/.525 lift and 116 LSA. Your engine will like this a LOT better than the LS7 cam.
