tr6060 swap between t56?
Has anybody else here swap back in forth between the 6060 and t56. Should it work or is there enough of a deference that it will create this issue?

Same with the T56.
There are TR6060s and T56s that work with the small GTO pilot bearing. And those that work w/ the large CTS-V bearing.
Clutches vary; a slave cylinder spacer may make it work. And so on and so on.
What would help your post: A tag number (bolted to a tailhousing bolt) from the trans. you actually have, Pictures of what you have for a clutch. Posting in the manual trans. form.

If you have a F-body T56 and a F-body bell housing, you use the small pilot bearing. I am actually not aware of any T56 applications that used the larger bearing. Corvettes used the larger bearing (and maybe later TR6060 did as well), but they have a transaxle.
Pictures would help a lot. Also, what clutch and flywheel are you using?
