Tips and ideas I just recently picked up an 81 stepside Chevy. I also got my hands on a 1999 Silverado 2wd with a 5.3. The plan is to put it into my 81. I have my uncle who is a mechanic and a hot rod guy helping me out. He has 4 hot rods that have a 5.3 in them. I’m going to be looking for some parts soon and welcome any feedback from anyone who has done an LS swap on a square body.
