Default AIT MAF sensor question
I'm swapping an LS1 into a 67 Camaro. I realized that I gave my IAT and MAF sensosr with the donor car so I have to by them. Would it be better to switch to a 5 wire or just buy stock sensors? I also will need to purchase a cold air intake.

2000 LS1
Ported Dorman LS6 intake
Ws6 store hot cam Pac 219 springs
Texas speed 62cc heads

Use what was there before. The ECM "knows" that setup.

Try to keep about 6" of straight tubing before and after the MAF for best performance. Just make sure the engine gets cool air from in front of the radiator.

What about the proximity of the ait sensor to the maf sensor?

I'm not sure that's critical as long as you get an accurate air temp.
