Can i swap a DBW ECM to a DBC to do some testing?

I have a 02 5.3 Tahoe DBW engine in a old c10 truck. I am having "no activity" codes on the 02 sensors. It never goes into the "closed loop" because it is not reading either of the sensors. Any way i have done everything except change the ECM. It is a 411 ECM. I have another c10 with a 01 5.3 silverado DBC with the good tuned 411 ECM in it. I was going to swap the ECM's to see if that may be my problem. Then i got to thinking about the good DBW ECM into the DBC engine. Could i swap this ECM just to test and see if 02 sensors would respond? Or will it even start?

You will have NO throttle opening. The TB will think the engine is off.

It won't even idle? So it aint gonna work to test to see if it would go into "closed loop"?

DBW TB's don't have an "idle circuit" or IAC valve like DBC ones do. The ECM cracks the throttle when the engine starts to idle, as far as I have heard.

It should idle, but that's all it will do. At rest a DBW throttle body isn't fully closed.
