Old and tired
A customer of mine was looking for a car to start a project but just wasn't sure what he wanted. He decided to build something to scratch the itch until he finds what he really wants as a keeper. 2 days later a friend of mine texts me , telling me his 72 Monte has to go. This car was bought used by his dad and driven for a few years, handed down to him, driven for driven for 35 years, then given time his son and driven for another 5 years. All that to say it's been a good car for that family.
This is the last year for the GM A body getting some much needed help in power. Out with th 2 barrel 350 with 165 HP and in goes a .040 over 5.3 with a mild cam.
Lots of other work is getting done while we are at it.

The exhaust is 2 1/2 mandrel bent with an x pipe and hooker aerochamber nufflers.
The front accessory drive is two kits from ict billet(can't remember exactly which ones) one for the alternator and power steering the other for the ac compressor. I used a camaro water pump with spacers to give it the truck spacing.
The harness is a re worked factory one from the junkyard . i use factory harnesses for most of my swaps because I get them for $35. Here's a video of basically what I do to receive work them
