Default Ls1 wiring

I have a 2000 BMW bare chassis. How do I go about a wiring harness for a 5.3 LS engine when there is no existing wiring in the car?

This is not a situation I would have signed up for if I was you. However, I think you need to find a model year 2000 body wiring harness - fuse box, etc. You are going to need something in the body wiring harness for the LS engine harness to connect up with. OTOH, you could build a temporary standalone engine harness for testing purposes - its only four wires. But this is not going to be usable long term if you plan to drive the BMW on the street.

I would just do it the same way as everyone else.

then get a body harness from the junk yard and start scabbing it in
