Default Low pressure oil light location

Where is the best place to put a low pressure oil sensor. My '53 Cadillac has a Oil warning light in the dash. I'd like to put the light from the sensor behind the factory warning light .
Summit sells the warning sensor and everything needed an i think I found a fitting for the sensor that goes to an LS on eBay.

thanks !

On my LS3 there are threaded plugs in the oil galley that runs along the lower driver's (U.S.) side of the block just above the oil pan. There's one at the front right behind where my low mount alternator sits, and there's one at the rear just above the oil filter. I used the one at the rear for an oil temperature sensor on mine. It takes a 16mm x 1.5 thread. Oil pressure light sensor would function fine at that location.

The plug at the front of the engine is shown here -- I used it to prime the oil system before start up.

The plug at the back of the engine is shown here -- you can see the oil temp sensor with wire attached; just below it is the cross bolt for the main bearing cap.

Bringing this back since I've started the electrical. Is there any where on the passenger side of the block that can be used ? The drivers side on mine is pretty tight due to the Cadillac power steering.

I put mine at the back of the engine where the original LS sender was. Originally I had it on the oil bypass block with a 45 degree fitting, but it eventually started leaking because I had an oil pressure sender there too and apparently the weight of it along with the vibration caused it to crack the brass fittings. luckily I caught it before it just snapped off!

where at on the back of the engine did you put yours?
the drivers side of my engine is extremely tight. I might be able to get to the front plug where Michael posted a picture of. But no where else on the drivers side.

I put it where the original LS oil pressure sender was. I just break off the plastic part of the sender, then drill out the aluminum piece that threads into the engine and tap it for the old oil pressure switch, which is 1/8"pipe thread. I use a switch from older GM cars, like a Nova, since they are easy to get and easy to wire up.
