Default One extra connection
My truck is undergoing a new ls1 swap from a2001 trans am and I have one extra connection on the front of motor. It's not coolant temp, that is already attached .I'm stumped since this is new to me, any help would be much appreciated

Help?

IAT is "Intake Air Temperature". In the air intake tube.

IAT=Idle air temperature sensor which is connected to the air box or part of the MAF.

IAC is "Idle Air Control", which is the air valve attached to the TB to control idle speed on cable type TB's

you can put it in your intake tube between your filter and maf.
