Stopped up injectors
2 of the 8 were locked up. All 8 had rotten, stinkin gas in them.
I ran them thru the ultrasonic cleaner, for 4- 20 min cycles. The cleaner was heated to 110*.
Worked perfectly. All 8 are "dead-on" for flow and pattern.
I suggest you not try to start the engine until you have dumped the rotten fuel. You may be able to use some Seafoam, and a 9V batt to see if they are locked up.
Real way to do it, is to have them cleaned and flow tested, all new wear items installed.
Turn them upside down and give them a vigorous shake. Pre-fill each with fuel, install in the fuel rail and hook up the injectors to the wire harness. Instead of installing into the intake, put the assembly on top of a pan (or cookie sheet - but don't use it to cook after
). Put sheets of paper between the pan the injector tips. With the fuel pump off (so it doesn't build pressure), let the engine crank for a few seconds. Check for wetting on the paper under each injector. I used a 9v to check them, 4 were stuck. I never tried to unstick them, as I had a 2nd set of LS2 injectors already in the truck. It just would have made my life easier if those had worked.
