Default Intake Fitting/Sensors Identification

I am finishing up my 1st rebuild of a ~04 LM7. I am in the process of tying up loose ends and I have a few questions about the intake. Which of the fittings and sensors are emissions equipment that I can block off? Which must be connected? What are the names of each? I did not see a good source of this info all in one place. Maybe if we get enough info in one spot it can become a sticky.

Photo 1: What is the red port?
Photo 2: The hose going towards the rear of the driver's side is the PCV hose and will be re-utilized regardless of whether I delete other emissions equipment.
Photo 3 & 6: The three hoses going into the throttle body are used to heat up the intake charge from the coolant circuit in cold weather. Does this always get reused? Does it plum directly into the water pump or need a few tees?
Photo 4: Evap? Can I just put a vacuum cap on this and move on?
Photo 5: MAPP?

#1 is for a vacuum port. I hooked my brake booster to that
#3 &6 the 2 lines under the throttle body are for the steam ports in the heads. They all connect and go to the rad over flow
#4 the one on the top is for an evap. I plugged mine

The warm up ports on the throttle body can be ignored. The steam ports on the heads do need to be connected to the radiator.

My EVAP port is plugged off, runs fine.

Yes, #5 is the manifold pressure sensor. Stock should be a 1 BAR sensor. You can upgrade to higher capacities if running boost.

Sounds like you have most of it figured out. #1, the red port is for power brakes, however, you're missing the nipple that pushes into it. If not running power brakes, there is a plug that will go in it to plug it off.

#4, the evap solenoid is normally closed until power is supplied to it, so you dont need any cap provided you leave the solenoid in place and isnt stuck open for some reason.

Ok. Thanks all. So the red port is not self-sealing? It has to have something installed in it to not pull in air and mess up the metering?
