VSS/4K wiring help I'm converting stock harness from 04 avalanche, 5.3, with turbo 400 and will be ok hp tuners. I've read several different things and am not real clear on what to do. Using the info on lt1swap it states to keep the green pin 50 (vss4k) and I'm not sure what to do with it. I thought it would be used for some kind of sensor such as Dakota digital Sen4160. But in reading on here I've come across threads that say to use green 20, 21, vss high and low reference. Some threads say dont need anything, others say the computer needs to know if the vehicles moving so it doesn't stall. I'll be using a mech speedo so the pass through style like dd has would work fine

Pin 50 is an OUTPUT. The ECU reads the VSS on the other pins. And it creates a 4k pulse per mile signal that it sends out to anything that needs it, like a speedometer. So if you don't need this signal, you don't have to keep the wire.
tip: If you de-pin and remove anything from the harness, keep these wires with the terminals on them, in case you need to go back and add some pins later.
