It's been a while since I have been on the forum as my project took the back burner for several years. So Hello.
I have a 5.3 that I am going to use in a 68 Camaro. Came out of a 05 Tahoe. Decided to go with a 4l60E trans but not sure what donor I should get it from. Figured a 05 2wd truck would be fine. ? Anyways if I get a built wiring harness from a vendor do they usually come with all the connections for the 4l60e or is there something else I would need to purchase? I assume the neutral safety / range selector switch is not used.
Any recommendations on a harness? Would like some extra length so I have options on ecm mounting ( maybe behind fender)

If you tell the harness vendor what all is going into the swap, they can either build in the right connections/components, or at least point you in the right direction.
