Well, the brake switch wire goes through the connector on the fender near the ECU from the 4.3. It will be a purple wire.
The gear shift indicator isn't going to work unless you keep the 4.3 computer.
Basicly, the Painless LS1 harness is deffinately not what you should have picked if you wanted everything to function properly after the swap.

okay so i just mate the LS1 brake wire to the purpple wire on the blazer? i dont really care about knowing what gear im in, but in the manual it said that i had to connect the LS1 gear shift indicator wires, or the TC in the trans would not unlock and could cauase damage, I choose painless becuase every one said they where easy to install, but i have contacted them for help, they dont awanser any of my emails and put me on hold when i call for an hour, very poor customer service,

The gear shift indicator wire must mean the park neutral switch wire.
The computer needs to know when you hit the brakes so it can unlock the torque converter. That is the need for the brake wire (Yes, the purple wire, Pin E in that connector I mentioned)
The other wire you are talking about tells the computer when you are out of Park or Neutral and in a drive gear, it does this using Ground when the vehicle is in Park or Neutral, and is just open when it is in drive. On your blazer, this wire would be in the larger of the 2 connectors (gray connector) that go to the switch on the drivers side of the transmission. Pin A supplies the signal you need.

okay so this purpple brake wire is located on the brake switch right? but i thank pin E is brake/transmission shift interlock solenoid feed. but is Dk GRN/WHT. as for the park and neutral wire, would that be like C201 or C206 bulk gray connectors? thanks for all your help i really Appreciate it.

The purple wire I am refering to is on the connector located right by the ECM. C101.
The Park Neutral wire would be C1 on the Park Neutral Switch, Pin A.
