Any 6L80 swapped Foxes?

I have an 89 coupe with an ls3/6l80.Originally was running a 4l60,but upgraded.was able to reuse the AJE crossmember used for the 4l60,I just flipped it over and moved the crossmember all the way forward on the bushings.worked fine..was also using the AJEk-member .engine placement would/could make the difference as it just barely fit.

Peanut gallery opinion here.. , IIRC,,, in the GM product line the 6L80 is epic for recalls and failure (Especially in trucks) .... Like the older 4l60E you had to really know your stuff to build a strong trouble free one. They didn't have near the number of them made that some of the other GM transmissions did... then the 8 and 10 speed units hit the market and all interest died...
